Lately...

Moni's brother, Kapono, flew down to drive with my husband to Arizona. Moni has to start at his new location in AZ by Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009. I'm staying behind with baby until we sell our homes and things are tied up here in Utah. Hopefully we won't take too long. Moni took his clothes, tools, puppies and of course his 10000000 CDs of reggae. lol!

stressed? Nah...just overly tired...under fed...out of my normal habitat

****WARNING****Unbalanced female rantings below. DO NOT READ. STOP HERE!******
Guess you want an earful eh? Go ahead, read on. Nothing positive or uplifting is listed below. You still want to read? Fine. Don't say I didn't warn you...
- My internet has been down for 6 days! Come on...I want to pull my hair out!
- Spent 3 of those days on the phone for hours with technicians to diagnose the issues and none of them knew what to do outside of reading their little techy scripts. I knew! But...no, they wouldn't just do as I told them to...cause, who am I but a piddly little consumer who happens to know EXACTLY how to fix it but can't cause comcast has to reset my modem remotely.
- Eventually, was told I had to run to get a new comcast modem within 15 minutes before the comcast office closed. Problem...we live 15 minutes from the closest office. Drove so fast almost flipped over. Got there with time to spare. Do not attempt that at home.
- Cleaned out entire 3 car garage that we stuffed to the rim with storage and boxes and stuff that should have been thrown away 10 years ago. Seriously, who has that much stuff? WE DO! With my sisters and aunties as my witness, it was worse than anything they have ever seen. Ever! Took me Fri - Sunday 2am to complete WITHOUT any sleep. Not to mention without my husbands help! .... Oh, and caught and killed several mice. **shiver thru spine**
- Cell phone service was interupted for 4 days. Still haven't figured the dang Android technology out!
- Tried to refill pain meds but my doctor went into retirement just last week and have to find another specialist to refill my loritabs.
- My baby is teething (which means FEVER) and crying non stop or laughing non stop. Go figure. Just like her momma.
- Ran to the city dump, while en route I was speaking with my father who was admitted into ICU and just now speaking for the first time. He hates distractions when he talks and it was hard to hear him but my baby decides to throw a tantrum, my husband pulls up to the entrance window to pay and asks ME to hand him money because he didn't have any on him. While searching for some in my purse, I spilled the entire contents of purse onto my lap and truck floor. Juggling my conversation with my father, looking for $8.00 in coins, crying baby, 4 trucks waiting patiently behind us ... come on. Is this for real? Only in my life.
- Injured myself again. Will not explain further as I will be sure to get a tongue lashing from an overprotective sister who lives across the street from me. I'm all good sis! Really, I am. *wink* *wink*
- Decided we have to seperate during our move to Arizona. Moni has to start work there while I have to close all ends here with our homes, vehicles, adoption, etc. Sad...sniff. Hate being apart.
- Bought our primary home for $230k several years ago, appraised for $285k the year after we bought and fixed it up. Now won't sell for more than $170k per several realtors.
- Got food poisoning and ended up spending more time on the ... actually....nevermind. Prob best not to get into gorey details.
- Truck battery stopped working and I was abandoned at local walmart parking lot at 3am. Did I mention my cell phone was not working for 4 days? Long story short, lucky was stranded at walmart. First thing I did was head in to...grab Dove Chocolate covered almonds...then a water...then a magazine. Tempted to grab an ice cream but thought I better call my spouse to come get me. Went to use customer service phone instead. Priorities? Yeah, they were spot on for how I was feeling.
- Spent several hours in an unconditioned Les Schwab getting new battery installed. Happened to stop in at the busiest of hours. What should have taken 20 minutes took 3 hours.
- Received an important shipment and when opened box, one container spilled all over the others. Not a pretty sight.
- Got stung by a bee...or wasp. Whatever it was, I cried like a turtle. You ever see a turtle cry? It's the saddest thing. aaawww.
- Messed up really bad in teaching a Tongan song for our upcoming primary Sacrament Meeting program. Made the kids laugh though.
- Found out I gained 20 pounds...then realized I didn't reset the scale. Phew! That was scary.
- My tightened braces are killing me. Won't be 9 more months till top teeth align how they need to in order to work on lower teeth....all cause I'm "old" per my orthodontist assistant. What? Rude.
- Found old videos but can't play due to broken video camera.
- Found another of our video cameras and old tapes from that one, tried to play them as well and THAT video camera decided to break on us too. Now stuck with hundreds of fun, family memories on little DVR's and HI8 tapes that we can't watch. Drove around looking for some kind of converter to play in a VHS or something. Nothing! Darnit.
- The townhome we wanted to rent in Arizona was too good to be true. Bye-bye my cute loft townhome with your huge ceilings and grand staircase and lakefront view.
Well...all that happened since last Monday. That's 7 days...and what a week it has been. Through it all I have learned how to accomodate disappointments more readily and fully. How I can't control everything around me but I can control my reactions and mood. Today has been such a better day than all the others. I'm so glad Heavenly Father loves me enough to give me those hard days so that I can really appreciate the good ones.
So through it all...what have I learned? Other than to eat more chocolate and just enjoy the sweet life...I have learned to just let it all go and just live! Just live like I am not given a tomorrow. Well, at least for today. hehehehe.

How time flies
Well, I felt all out of sorts because I couldn't take pictures to record our daily happenings. Due to my procrastination in journal writing, I depend heavily on my pictures to be my journal keeper. Every photo we take I have the date stamp on to help categorize them.
Well, we finally got another camera! I'm not so discouraged anymore and I'm out shooting pictures everywhere. It got me excited to look at all the pictures I have yet to upload and view that were taken months ago.
Sifting through thousands of photos we've taken these last few months, here are some prime ones that bring smiles and laugther to our minds. ((No particular order. Refer to date stamp on pic))

Crawling, Bawling, Walking and Talking
I'm slowly getting back into the online communication groove. I feel overwhelmed with all kinds of updates that I often delay posting. Hopefully tomorrow, after church is over, I can take a nap and then post some cool stuff. Hopefully.

Happy 1st Father's Day!
What a great day! Your first Father's Day. You are a great husband, father, uncle and friend! You amaze me with your patience, love and service for everyone you are around. You truly are a great example for our daughter. YES! I said...OUR DAUGHTER! Can you believe it babe? We have a child.
After waiting so long and going through so much, the Lord granted our prayers. We are such better people because of our little one eh? We thought we knew love before and now we know love in a whole new way. It has been so fun to share every moment with you and baby girl. She reminds me of you in all the good she does. Hopefully she'll pick up on mommy's one or two good qualities. lol.
Keep up the great work babe. You are one in a trillion. Thank you for loving me through all these years . Thank you for understanding, for being there to dry my eyes, for shoring me up with words of encouragement. It has been a long and tough wait for us both. We have become such better people because of all our trials. We are going to be sooooo great at this parenting gig eh? lol.
I love you eternally. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Happy Father's Day!

Daddy,
You are so wonderful and amazing. Thank you for bringing me into this world and raising me to be a faithful servant of the Lord. I will forever be indebted to you for building so many memories and teaching me happiness by living and cherishing every moment. You introduced me to so many facets of this world that many would not have seen or done in their full lifetime.
If I had to describe you in one word it would be "totallyawesomeradicalgenius". That's one word right? LOL!
Thank you for being you and loving me for me.
Ofa Atu and אני אוהב/ת אותך, אני מאוהב/ת בך
